FLM Live Auction Manager Guide

How to follow the auction, place bids, manage max bids and understand your squad commitments.

Fantasy managers Private unique-player leagues Manual and max bidding Post-auction buying

Overview

FLM Live Auction is used in private or closed leagues where each footballer can belong to only one fantasy squad.

Your league admin creates and runs the auction. You bid on footballers while their lots are open.

Won is not yet in squad. A footballer becomes an official squad player only after the admin closes the auction and commits the results.

Open the correct auction

  1. Log in using the email linked to your fantasy manager account.
  2. Use Switch League when you belong to more than one league.
  3. Open Live Auction from the manager menu.

The page is available only when the selected league is private or closed, uses unique-player ownership and has a scheduled auction.

Manual bids

Enter an amount in an open lot and click Bid.

Max bids

Max bids appear only when enabled by the league admin. Enter your maximum and click Max.

Why a bid is blocked

Each manual bid and max bid is checked before acceptance.

Typical messages include Now fill other positions, Squad full, Budget and Need budget to complete squad.

Late-bid extensions

A valid bid or automatic max-bid response near the close can extend that footballer's close time.

The admin controls the extension window, extension length and maximum number of extensions per lot. The success message states when an extension has been applied.

Search and auto-refresh

The auction room includes lot search and result filters.

Auto-refresh is off by default. Enable it on your own browser or device.

Available intervals are 10, 30, 60 and 120 seconds. Refresh pauses while the tab is hidden, you are typing or submitting a bid, a form control is active or a lot search is in use.

Post-auction free agency

The admin can make unsold footballers available after the auction has been committed.

When free agency is open, you can buy an unsold footballer at the displayed minimum price on a first-come-first-served basis.

The purchase still checks ownership, squad size, budget, position and formation. A successful purchase is added directly to your squad from the auction's selected scoring period.

Troubleshooting

Live Auction is missing

Check that the correct league is selected. The league must be private or closed, use unique-player ownership and have a scheduled auction.

I cannot bid

The auction may not be active, the lot may not be open, or the bid may breach minimum, increment, budget, squad-size or position rules.

I won a player but he is not in My Squad

This is normal while the result says Won. The player appears after the league admin commits the auction.

The page is not refreshing

Turn on auto-refresh. It also waits while you are typing, searching, submitting or using another form control.
